The Recreation Commission welcomes you to our site where you can find helpful information regarding activities available to all Old Tappan residents.  The Commission is made up of volunteers from the community.  For the year 2008 they are:

Our objective is to serve the girls, boys, men and women of Old Tappan, providing the types of recreational activities that will improve the life style of everyone.  This is not a task borne only by the Commission members.  There is an enormous amount of volunteer effort from parents and others, all of which is essential to make our programs successful.  Some of those at the forefront in each activity are:

If anyone has new ideas or suggestions, you are welcome to present them to the Commission.  Our regular meeting date is the second Tuesday of every month starting at 8 PM at the Borough Hall.  We only ask that you contact the Chairman or Recreation Director in advance so our agenda can include your visit.
