2012 Camp Serendipity will run from:

July 10- July 26

9am-3pm

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Guidelines to keep the camp running smoothly.

LUNCH-  Parents should pack a lunch for their children in a disposable bag. Please clearly label the lunch with the child's name and grade. Juice will be provided.

DAILY ACTIVITIES: THE CAMPERS WILL BE OUTSIDE FOR MUCH OF THE CAMP DAY. SPORTS, FIELD GAMES AND PLAYGROUND TIME WILL ALL BE HELD OUTSIDE WHEN POSSIBLE. PLEASE MAKE SURE CHILDREN ARE DRESSES AND PREPARED FOR OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES.

DROP-OFF BY 9 AM - Please make sure your child is checked off as "present" each day by their group Counselor. There will be a Counselor with a clipboard taking attendance for each group upon arrival.

PICK-UP  – A parent should arrive by  2:55  and proceed to the same area as the drop-off.  If a friend or relative is picking up your child, notify a Supervisor, in writing, naming the individual to pick-up the child. This note will be given to your child’s counselor who will release a child only after the individual has identified themselves properly to the counselor.  If an early pick-up is desired, a note must also be provided at the start of camp, or, in an emergency, advise a supervisor.  Be sure that the child’s  counselor has made a notation that you have picked up your child.

***Please do not enter the All Purpose R0om until 3:00 as early arrival of parents can make it difficult for Counselors to prepare campers for dismissal. ***

SNEAKERS – Sneakers are highly recommended. Many of the activities are quite active and sneakers are required in the gym.

BOTTLE WATER – Your child may bring bottled water but we do provide ample water and cups throughout each session along with juice at lunch time.  School fountains are also available.

DOGS – For the safety of the children dogs are prohibited on the premises before, during and after the camp hours.

SUPERVISORS – If you have any questions or problems, please bring them to the attention of a supervisor.

Campers Rules- A Camper Rules packet will be distributed to each camper prior to the start of Camp. It is imperative that parents review this packet with their children to ensure they know what is expected of them as campers.
