Borough Hall hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:00pm.
Building Department hours are Monday through Thursday 9:15-2:15.

Sewer Department:  PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER. Other material (wipes, paper towels, etc.) cause clogging of sewer pumps.  We cannot afford to lose a pump because of foreign debris entering the pump station; which would most likely result in multiple homes backing up with sewage.

OLD TAPPAN RESIDENTS - Your Mail-In Ballots have been mailed out to all active registered voters. You should be expecting them within a week. Please try to return their ballots as soon as possible. There is a drop off box in the front parking lot of the Borough Hall for your convenience. If a registered voter has not received their ballot by October 7th they may contact the Elections Clerk by email or phone for a duplicate. The Bergen County mobile COVID-19 testing program is resuming for autumn with something new: flu shots. Sites will offer COVID-19 saliva tests and flu shots to any county resident or county employee who brings proof of employment or residence, and identification.  Testing is open to everyone from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. However, priority will be given to public school faculty and staff from 1:30-2:30 p.m.  Click here for more info.
